Ms. Sarah Losinger

Trustee, Communities Foundation of Texas

Sarah Losinger is a Trustee for the Communities Foundation of Texas and a community volunteer who is highly active in the philanthropic and nonprofit sector. She has extensive grantmaking experience through her chairmanship of the McCune Charitable Foundation and is a former chair of the UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Friends of the Alzheimer Disease Center. Sarah serves on the boards of Letot Capital Foundation, Southwestern Medical Foundation (as an honorary trustee), the Salvation Army and the AT&T Performing Arts Center. In addition, Sarah is a City of Dallas District 13 Municipal Library Board appointee, where she currently serves as board chair. She is a Leadership Texas 2007 graduate. For 25 years, she has been a presenter to DISD’s anti-victimization program, WHO. Sarah was a founding member of the Women for Girls program through Girls, Inc., and she is an active member of Crystal Charity Ball. In 2012, She was honored as the outstanding volunteer fundraiser by the Dallas Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is also on the advisory council for the Dallas Women’s Foundation, the Center for Nonprofit Management and Dallas Afterschool. In addition, she sits on the advisory board for Mosaic Services. Sarah holds a B.S. in special education from the University of Oklahoma. She and her husband, Alan, have two children.
